Amazing

Wow Brad! A million times improvement!! The new program sounds amazing. This is what you've needed to get my 5's all along man. Better equipment (not that i'm one to talk). Congratulations bro. You don't sound like an amateur anymore. By the way, the song kicked.

Bracksta responds:

lol, thanks man for the great review. yeah i was always limited by my equipment. You should upgrade cause you are a great musician, but your system limits you alot. peace bro

You're incredible!!!!

Wow! I can't believe it!! You managed to make the impossible happen dude!!!
MMX2 Music always had potential, but your Metal Medley really brought the good themes out to their utmost ability!!! I love everything you did.
Intro Stage - Fantastic use of driving drums and strong underscoring harmonies
Magna Centipede - I loved the seamless transition as the song built into the new theme. The layering effect made the theme creepier and heavier. Very effective
Flame Stag - Perhaps the triplet transition was unnecessary, but this sounded like a very good heavy cover compared to the original.
Zero's Theme - I liked the interesting contrast to his theme, making it calmer, yet more determined sounding. In the overall sound of the medley, this was a perfect musical choice to break up the moods in the song.
Sigma Stage 1 - Incredible. Always wanted to hear a jacked up cover like this one. You hit the nail on the head with this one.
Ending - The theme sounded very different metalized, but in a good way.

You did an excellent job Viking. I am a MMX snob and play all 8 games obsessively from time to time. This Medley is certainly going to keep me company while I play X2 on mute one day. Again, great job dude.

I love the Silver Cat

Cats are my weakness dude. It actually sounded exactly like I thought it would. I was even whispering "Silver Cat" before playing the song. HAHAHA. That's awesome.

Druids-Warcry responds:

hey man, that Silver Cat will Rip your ass a new one

Decent update

I see I caught the better, updated version second. Well, I like how it's even faster now and some of the effects are cleaner. Something about that original ending with the "Die Die Die" sample really struck me though. This time, I felt that the instrumental outro didn't need to slow down to normal time. That's the only thing I'd change. I'd make it go faster and faster and then way too fast until suddenly - cut off.
Still, very good stuff.

Wow!!

You are one twisted motha, and I LIKE it!! I was into the experimental intro and it started to really rock at 1:20. I would've liked to have heard more of that guitar before it was over, but I really liked this one. I think you'd like my song -Encounter- & -Survivor-. Check 'em out if you can. Good stuff man.

This can go further.

Interesting choice with adding Saxophone and woodwinds. Maybe I'd add flute first if I were writing on this wave-length. I think for the big major ending, I'd go the extra mile and just throw the whole Symphony Orchestra in here with a cymbol roll lead in. Then the horns and everyone else would blast us away with a big grandioso ending. Either way, this piece was pretty relaxing.

Cool Sci-Fi Vibe

I'm keeping in mind that this was originally a Test Run Song, but that Industro-Snare is a little thick in the EQ for my taste. Everything else reminds me of a cool Sci-Fi Mission Briefing, for like a squad unit about to go into battle.
(Odd reference, but it reminds me a little of Divergence Eve, the anime series if you've ever seen it).
What I like the most about this is that it sounds contemplative most of all. Again, well done. Especially for a Test Run of what's to come from FL Studio.

Hades responds:

Haha, "little thick", when used in this context, is a true textbook example of euphemisms. Let's be honest- it's hideous. Now that I look back, I must've been partially deaf when I chose it, but I guess it gives it that "OMG FIRST SONG LOL" charm. ;D The briefing idea never actually occurred to me, but now that you've mentioned it, it really does remind me of something similar. And once again, thanks a lot for the review, I'll make sure to return the favor as soon as I get out of this damn writer's block... In the meantime, I'll just keep on fiveing your songs, seems like they need it.

Nice Percussion.

Nice Percussion man!! Don't be afraid to add more layers. Wheres the Djembe mon? Haha, this was some really good stuff. I tried doing something like this, but it got a little too crazy 'cause I added too many sounds. I'd look forward to a Primal II, or whatever if there was another song like that to go with this one. Again, very nice job Hades.

Hades responds:

Yeah, this really isn't much of a song to hear when it comes to layering or development, but it was a helluva lot fun to make. At the time this was made, I didn't even have the technical capacities to do anything more with this song, but I'm sure that if I went to make a song in similar fashion now, it would be an exotic-percussion megalomaniac's playground. ;D Thanks for the review, I appreciate it!

Hey!! Not bad!!!

Thanks so much. I never expected to inspire you in return, and NEVER expected to ever have a song dedicated to me on New Grounds.
I like the main theme for the Lonely Hero. That's a nice title man. I'm glad I gave you a new idea to have fun with. This was a fun listen.

Props

This song belongs in a far better Flash than a stupid "Mad Quiz". This stuff is too dark and epic for just simple background music. I wish I could see this in some sort of original flash with an epic story. My $#!t is nothing compared to yours, but you might wanna check out my latest Audio Submissions. They are among this epic level of never ending battles. Good shit Ashley.

Druids-Warcry responds:

Yeah man thanks for the support Metallikid6, I mean shit my music is the worlds I don't mind who uses it for what I'm just glad some one is getting enjoyment out of it. I will check your music out for sure. If you keep at it and got some good motivation and a good partner then any thing can happen. I know a few people have asked to use this in a flash, so lets just wait and see. thanks for your support and review.

What's up folks. I'm the "Hidden Gem" on Newgrounds, The Metallikid. I love all things musical including writing, producing & distributing my own stuff right here on NG. Comment & Vote for me. Don't be shy.
