Cool stuff.
I like this dark techno mix. Cool piano sound and synth sounds. What program do you use?? I wrote a song called Aqualung too. I like your interpretation.

Cool!
It sounds like VG music man. I wanna play Megaman to this, lol. Great structure. Fun listen.
that is an awesome comment because i played megaman last week and commpletely agree :)!
Hmm
Although I can't stand Mortal Kombat or any of the remixes from the movies that were popular oh.... ten years ago, I have to say, you sold me after two minutes of the song. I can't insult your writing ability. You did some really incredible background work on this song and the themes transitioned very nicely. The original stuff in the song I liked the most. I just have an unfair bias against Mortal Kombat... The games lost their essence after 3 in my book, and the movie fad was cool for like... 2 years in my opinion.
it's all cool man :). i wrote all of the original stuff first and decided to add mortal combat a day later. so the original before mortal combat stands alone pretty good. I think i will release the original before mortal combat :). thanks for the great review and compliments, i always appreciate your support, peace brother :D.
Very nice!
The effects and build are great.
I was kinda hoping the piano part would change from time to time, but that constant melody drives the piece along and the effect/beat changes around it keep the song from getting stale. Great job. Great mixing. I can tell you worked on this one a lot. Well done BK.
thanks alot metalkid, ya, i could do a remix for variety sake :D. i'll solo the piano. peace bro!
Not bad.
2 words that suggest a major improvement to the tune.
Double Pedal!
If you threw in some heavy double pedal/marching snare parts that interchanged throughout the song, I'm sure this would be 10x better. Anyways, the effort is commendable.
If you look down at the response to Satya's comment, it would be the same as the response to your's. Thanks for the review.
Nice
Hmm. I don't know about all the vocal samples.... But I really liked the underscoring, (which was the point to the whole song). Nice verse. You had 2 bridges!! That's awesome. The first one was nice and smooth, but I liked the 2nd one at 3:07. That was a very cool bridge. Nice choice of tech-synth and musical intervals there. The polyphony at the end of the song was really nice too, pulling everything together. You're writin' some sophisticated stuff there Bracksta, whether you realize it or not.
lol thanks alot metalman :D i have been trying to sounds more and more professional. i am happy to see that almost every song i have being making lately has gotten great reviews. I have been working on song structure for about the last half year and i really has paid off. thanks bro for the great review, i am always appreciative of your support :D
Ha.
Boy has this song got to GO! Haha just kidding.
That was funny after a while, albeit a little obnoxious. Which was probably the point.
why is this so popular it sucks
Ya welcome =]
A great song, written simply about Inspiration. Incredible...
The gears must've really been rolling on this one Bracksta. Extremely uplifting, pounding in your face techno. I really dig the intro with the interesting synth textures. At :41 when we get to the real verse, everything just feels great as we keep adding newer parts every 4 or 8 bars or so.
At 1:23 when you do the polyrhythms, I have to say it sounds a little off at first, but then the ear gets accustomed to the pattern before everything comes in stronger at 2:00. From there things just keep building.
Gotta say the ending is only slightly disappointing with that crash and cut off reverb. (I would probably go with those voicy synths but that's just me).
Overall fantastic as usual. Congrats on another epic.
lol, ya you are not the only one to get on my ending, i agree it needs work. thanks for always checkin in bro, much appreciated :)
Dood!
Nice remix. Really nice!! I was actually thinking of doing something like this for one of my songs... Anyway, what I like the most about this song is that it sounds like Pensive music. Like something you'd hear on a soundtrack that might be used in a montage. Not to mention that it really makes you feel like you're in space.
I love the length. It makes for a very epic listen.
There were two minor things that I wasn't fully keen on. There was some sound at the 1 minute mark that I just didn't dig, and another part where everything slows down except that wind. The wind just sounded out of place to me and off time, until the beat caught back on as it got heavier again. Those are my only picky things, which in all actuality don't take anything away from the song. Yet again you've done it damn you. Another one of my faves. Chill & Epic. Damn kid. What's next?
the stars, lol, naw not really. I am just having fun and lovin music man, it has taken me a very large amount of music to get to where i am and i still have so far to go, lol. you've been with me from the start, almost man! It is fun to compare my music from early 2008 and now or even earlier to now. It is freinds like you that feed my fire and encourage my musical development. Thank you
Not smooth
This song doesn't have any smooth transitions. I can clearly hear the cuts and edits in sound. I think it would be more decent if you took more time on this one.
This song is an oldy. I've progressed a lot since then but thanks a lot for the advice. Thanks a lot for the review.
What's up folks. I'm the "Hidden Gem" on Newgrounds, The Metallikid. I love all things musical including writing, producing & distributing my own stuff right here on NG. Comment & Vote for me. Don't be shy.
