Excellent stuff.

I like everything about this song. I like your title, for the dual heroes, I like the fact that it's half DNB and half Rave and I like the fact that the music sounds good enough like this game is actually worthy of anyone's time. Don't get me wrong MM9 (as it should've been called) was a decent game, but it was way too hard for my taste. [And what was the deal with Tengu Man being in it again!? Is he the only special Robot Master worth fighting 4 times in Mega Man's career!???] That said, good song man =]

Amazing.

I voted you 5 out of 5. I had to take 1 point of for the mistitle though. This is an amazing version of the X vs. Zero fight in X2.

I like it!

I have to admit that I was never good enough in MM4 to fight the last Wily. This is awesome though. I like the, beat, the chords and the catchy melody above. I like the synth sounds you put to this. I'd love to hear other versions of this to compare to, but I have to say for a first time hearing it, this was very enjoyable.

Thnaks for the review.

Very Faithful

VERY FAITHFUL to the game. Every time I'd play this game, I don't know if I liked the song or not, but when I hear this version I really like it a lot. I seriously think the sounds you chose are BETTER than the original game Midi sounds. Very good stuff. What program do you use if you don't mind me asking?

This is good!!

I like everything in this song, except the first 6 seconds of the intro. What's interesting about this remix is that it has that MM8 flare with the techno beats & synths that were so different from MM7's original rock midi sounds. I honestly like this remix, and coming from someone who's not a big Techno-head, that's saying a lot.

meh this isnt one of my best anyways...a friend of mine just requested it but thx for the review

I love this

Oh man... This is so Epic!! And the fact that it's Megaman 2 makes it that much better for me. I love this.

Heaven, Hell, Rain or Shine, I like it.

I like the slow build a lot. This song was very keyboard based, and I respect the hard work you've put into it. I was particularly impressed within the last minute of the piece when you started getting into sixteenth note, melodic patterns. The layering was a nice blend and nothing overpowered the other. All in all, great mix. Although, when I was listening, i wasn't picturing Heaven or Hell. I pictured rain or snow. ::shrugs::

Lorens4444 responds:

:) Thanks a lot.
There must be water between heaven and hell. Why not snow from heaven that becoming rain closer to hell?

Great!

This is great! I really like how you put samples from MMX4 when Double goes buck on everyone. I wish I could see a Music Video of that scene with this song put to it. This was really good stuff man. Keep it up.

It would be really cool indeed! Though, I hardly doubt that it will ever happen. Ah well, at least you enjoyed it! Right? ;D

Musical Continuity at it's best

Damn it! I just wrote you a great comment and accidently pressed Share this, instead of Submit. I'm not writing that all again. What I will say though is that I liked how the "Species" storyline continues. Adding guitar this time was great. It's effin' Crazy yo. I definitely dig it.

thanks man!!!! yaay, a good review! Thanks for your last review also. You made my day man. Pease and god bless. -Bracksta

I give it a 6 for effort.

Up until reading that comment, I felt as if this would be well suited for a Megaman or Robot Showdown in a Flash vid. Music is funny sometimes. The creative process can make the idea for you as you write a song. Still though, if you didn't want it to sound like a Showdown or Spanish, you had control.

That digression aside, I'll tell you what I like. The guitar and soft breakdown I like a lot. Even the beginning with the backing chords is nice, albeit a little loud on the ears.
My only constructive criticism is where's the ending? I hate telling people how to write their songs 'cause I know how offended I get when people tell me to change up my stuff. What I would do with this song though, is listen to it as a prototype for perhaps a newer, better version, or for ideas for another song completely. If you want, try rearranging where things go. There's a lot of potential in this song. (My trick is that I let things built a little bit later, [primarily after 4 bars]).

Like I said before about the whole Showdown thing. If you didn't want it to sound like a Showdown, don't call it that. The whole time I was thinking, "Why doesn't this sound darker and more nerve-wracking?" If that's still the route you want to take, I'd say maybe a little bit of a faster beat and minor chords would help. Anyway, this is just some food for thought man. Be good.
